Broadway Barks: But doesn’t Bite
I was asked to document Broadway Barks by Bill Smith of 1 Love 4 Animals, an animal rescue based in Chester Springs, PA. This was the 25th anniversary of the event started by Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters in which Broadway stars take to the stage with animals available for adoption. The event was held in Shubert Alley in the Theater District of Midtown Manhattan between 44th and 45th Streets. Bernadette’s co-host this year was comedian, satirist, and singer, Randy Rainbow.
1 Love 4 Animals was one of 24 rescues participating in the event. Cast members of The Cottage,Lilli Cooper, Alex Moffet, Laura Bell Bundy, Nehal Joshi, Eric McCormack, Dana Steingold and director Jason Alexander presented the 1 Love 4 Animals dogs available for adoption.
